The 2015 Gigondas is a crisp, high-altitude blend of 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre. Intriguing aromas of sandalwood and leather add complexity to raspberry and pomegranate flavors, making it an intense and layered experience. I wouldn't be surprised to see this wine outlast Chapoutier's bottlings from Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
