The 2005 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Boudriotte bursts from the glass with a rich bouquet of pear, candied pineapple, ripe citrus fruits, fresh butter and cotton candy. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with an expansive attack, ripe acids and a saline finish. This is a ripe, generous wine that lacks a little tension, but it is nonetheless aging gracefully.
