The 2009 Sa Natura was made from organically certified fruit consisting of 30% Carinena, 20% Garnacha, 20% Syrah, with the balance Merlot and Petit Verdot aged in barrel for 6 months. It is a bit more deeply colored and has elevated acidity compared to its non-organic sibling. It gives up a pleasing perfume of mineral, spice box, cedar, and assorted black fruits leading to a firmly structured, very Mediterranean wine with good grip and length. It is also a good value for drinking over the next 4-5 years.
