Flowers and berries are found in the aromatics of the 2001 Chambolle-Musigny. Light to medium-bodied, this wine expands on the attack, revealing an excellent, satin-textured, plum and blackberry-flavored core. Its tight, compressed finish will have to flesh out for it to ultimately merit a score in the upper part of the attributed range. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. The Lecheneaut brothers, Philippe and Vincent, have a distinct preference for the 2000s over the 2001s.
