The 2021 Macon-Charnay Clos Saint-Pierre is one of the standouts of the range this year, exhibiting aromas of citrus fruit, buttery pastry, pear, blanched almonds, white flowers and honey. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, it's a racy, nicely balanced wine that will drink well on release.

The 2020 Macon-Charnay Clos Saint-Pierre offers up inviting aromas of buttered orchard fruit, peach and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and charming, with lively acids and a fleshy core of fruit, it's a seamless, elegant white that will offer a broad drinking window. While this isn't quite as long, it's following on the heels of the Macon-Bussières more closely than it generally does.

The 2019 Macon-Charnay Clos Saint-Pierre reveals attractive aromas of citrus oil, pastry cream and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, bright and lively palate that's quite fine-boned and delicate, concluding with a saline finish. It's one 2019 that's a touch more precise than the 2018 rendition.

The 2018 Macon-Charnay Le Clos de Saint-Pierre is one of the riper, fleshier wines, having attained 13.8% alcohol. Exhibiting aromas of ripe yellow orchard fruit and honeycomb, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and broad-shouldered, concluding with a saline finish.

Generous and sun-kissed, the 2017 Macon-Charnay Le Clos de Saint-Pierre is bursting with aromas of ripe peaches, yellow citrus and honeycomb. On the palate, it's glossy, textural and medium to full-bodied, with a succulent, giving profile.
