Medium ruby, the 2019 Pinot Noir Doctor's Vineyard has reticent touches of earth, dark spice, dried citrus and bay leaves on the nose with a core of dark berry fruit. The medium-bodied palate is grainy and fresh with layered flavors and a long, spicy finish.

Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Doctor's Vineyard is scented of violets and roses over notions of kirsch, cranberry sauce and red plums plus a touch of spice box. Medium-bodied, soft, supple and spicy in the mouth, it has lovely plush tannins and lingering cinnamon and cloves notes on the finish.

Possessing a cool climate snap to its fruit, the 2014 Pinot Noir Doctor's Vineyard comes from the Santa Lucia Highlands and is a medium-bodied, fresh and lively effort that gives up plenty of passion fruits, green herbs, mint and black cherries. It’s an elegant, pretty and nicely focused effort to enjoy over the coming 5-6 years, possibly longer.

One of the more tight, energetic and vibrant releases here, the 2013 Pinot Noir Doctor’s Vineyard offers lots of spring flowers, violets, Bing cherry, and underbrush aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied, beautifully pure, elegant and with juicy acidity, drink it anytime over the coming 5-6 years.

Completely destemmed and aged 11 months in 58% new French oak, the 2012 Pinot Noir Doctor’s Vineyard has a gamey, darker fruit-driven style, with complete forest floor, dried herbs and earthy notes developing in the glass. Medium-bodied, supple and pure, with a pretty feel, it’s a delicious Pinot Noir that will evolve nicely through 2020.
