The 2021 Core Bianco is a blend of equal parts Fiano and Greco, the pearl and the diamond atop a crown of Campania white grapes. This wine shows soft creaminess, just a touch, with supple flavors of orchard fruit, lemon meringue, papaya and a hint of sea salt. Winemaking is in stainless steel only, so that pretty texture comes directly from the well-ripened fruit and calcareous clay soils. This vintage is especially bright and balanced. 20,000 bottles were released.

The Montevetrano 2019 Core Bianco is a blend of equal parts Fiano and Greco. This happy marriage of Campania indigenous grapes results in silky creaminess and a smooth textural approach that gives this wine a leg up on many other local whites you may know. The bouquet offers an assembly of peach, citrus and melon, and the finish is clean and nicely streamlined. This is a handy, easy-drinking white for grilled or baked fish. (In the fish markets of Salerno, you might choose a coccio, which is essentially what North Americans call a sea robin.) About 10,000 bottles were released.

This blend of equal parts Fiano and Greco shows a really tight core with lots of orchard fruit, honey, almond, pear and peach cobbler. Although the 2017 Core Bianco is a simple wine, it offers a complete deal with everything you should look for in an easy-drinking Campania white. There are some pretty notes of crushed mineral as well. Fruit comes from a vineyard with limestone soil located some 400 meters above sea level. Some 20,000 bottles were made.

The 2015 Core Bianco is a fantastic blend of Fiano and Greco in equal parts. This is a zesty and vibrant wine that delivers an irresistible level of fruit intensity with passion fruit, peach and honeydew melon. The mouthfeel is lightweight in terms of body but the sharpness and beauty of its summery fruit flavors add to the overall richness and creaminess of the finish.
