The 2016 Ladoix Le Clos Royer Blanc has a clean and precise bouquet that has subtle white flower scents. The palate is well balanced with fresh acidity, bright and vivid with citrus lemon, nectarine and a chalky finish that is a delight. Enjoy this beautifully crafted white Ladoix over the next 7 or 8 years.

The 2015 Ladoix Le Clos Royer Blanc offers attractive white flower aromas on the nose, hints of sliced pear, nectarine and almond blossoming from the glass. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity. It does not quite possess the length of a top vintage, although there is commendable depth and a pleasant blackberry leaf note on the aftertaste.

The 2013 Ladoix 1er Cru Le Clos Royer Blanc has a bright rosewater-tinged bouquet that is pretty rather than complex. The palate is imbued with light tropical notes: hints of mango and red cherry that form quite a long finish that gently fans out. This is a charming white Ladoix, easy-drinking but at the same time, quite stylish.
