The 2016 Chorey-lès-Beaune les Beaumonts offers clean pure red cherry and cranberry scents on the nose, with the oak very well assimilated. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, not a powerful Chorey-les-Beaune but quite refined and almost “airy” in style. I like the acidity here, a wine where less is more.

The 2015 Chorey-lès-Beaune les Beaumonts has a tightly wound bouquet with blackberry and raspberry coulis scents; nicely defined with a stony undertow. The palate is medium-bodied with some chewiness on the entry, tightly wound with a touch of sour cherry and blueberry on the finish.
