A blend of fruit from the Southern Rh?ne, the 2020 Cotes du Rhone le Temps Est Venu features a hint of garrigeu set against a backdrop of ripe cherries and black cherries. Medium to full-bodied, it's a supple, silky wine to enjoy over the next 4-5 years.

A blend of 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre, the 2019 Cotes du Rhone le Temps Est Venu is spruced from Plan de Dieu and Visan, both in the Southern Rh?ne. Aged in concrete, it offers attractive scents of garrigue, black cherries and dried spices on the nose, while in the mouth, it's full-bodied, round and generous. Gently framed by supple tannins and a touch of alcoholic warmth, it hints at cherries jubilee on the finish.

A tank-aged blend of roughly 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah (although there are fractions of Mourvèdre and Cinsault), the 2018 Cotes du Rhone le Temps Est Venu is sourced from Plan de Dieu (two-thirds) and Visan (one-third). It's spicy and leathery up front, then opens to reveal notes of ripe cherries and garrigue. It's a solid effort, with silky tannins and a backbone of cranberryish acidity that lingers on the finish.

Sourced just like the 2016 and 2018 versions, the 2017 Cotes du Rhone le Temps Est Venu is approximately 60-40 Grenache and Syrah; two-thirds comes from Plan de Dieu and one-third Visan. Showing lovely red-fruit notes of strawberries and cherries, it's medium to full-bodied, with supple tannins and a bright, juicy finish.

Made in concrete tanks, Ogier's 2016 Cotes du Rhone le Temps Est Venu is a bouncy, fresh and fun wine he's blended from Plan de Dieu (two-thirds) and Visan (one-third). It's 60% Grenache, with the rest mainly Syrah, although there are touches of Mourvèdre and Cinsault. It's full-bodied and filled with cherry fruit, barely contained by supple tannins on the lingering finish.
