The 2000 Viognier (flower label) has fresh and sweet peach/apricot aromas. It is rich, a bit heavy (readers should serve it quite chilled to give it more focus), and offers an oil-textured core of super-ripe apples. Drink it over the next 6-12 months. Bravo! to Georges Duboeuf for this impressive line-up of wines, and for the fact that he has remained true to his goal of delivering high quality at consumer friendly prices.
