Made from 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre that will see 12 months in oak tanks, it will benefit from short-term cellaring and evolve for a decade.

The 2014 Domaine de Terre Ferme Chateauneuf du Pape offers a medium-bodied, elegant and finesse driven style to go with notes of sappy underbrush, strawberry, raspberry and violets. Medium-weight, taut, energetic and lively, give it a year once released and drink bottles through 2024.

The 2013 Domaine de Terre Ferme Chateauneuf du Pape is good, but not inspiring, and offers light red fruits, pepper and underbrush in a medium-bodied, bright, mid-weight style. It will need drinking in its first 7-8 years.

The 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Domaine de Terre Ferme checks in as a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre that was completely destemmed and aged 12 months in older oak tanks. Giving up notions of truffle, black currants, licorice and peppery herbs/damp earth, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, integrated acidity and a balanced, age-worthy feel. Give it a couple years and enjoy bottles through 2024.
