The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Baudes wafts from the glass with aromas of cherries, red berries and plums mingled with mint and spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's a supple, sensual wine that privileges charm and finesse.

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Baudes opens in the glass with aromas of cherries and red berries mingled with sweet spices, loamy soil and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, with fine concentration and a seamless, elegantly muscular profile, it's a fine success that's a worthy follow-up to the 2019 rendition.

Aromas of cherries, sweet wild berries, cinnamon and forest floor introduce the 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Baudes, a medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated wine that's deep and complete, with powdery tannins and lively acids. Situated below Bonnes-Mares, Lignier observes that this parcel is planted north-south and moreover gently inclined to the north, both of which, he thinks, are advantageous attributes in warmer, sunnier years.
