The high point of the range in red is the 2020 Corton Grand Cru Les Renardes, a beautiful young wine that offers up aromas of sweet red berries, cassis, exotic spices and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively and seamless palate that's deep and elegant, with bright acids, supple tannin and a long, sapid finish.

More charming and perfumed, the 2019 Corton Grand Cru Les Renardes bursts with notes of peonies, red berries, rose petals and plums. Medium to full-bodied, ample and sumptuous, with melting tannins and lively acids, it's a beautiful wine.

Offering up aromas of plums, red berries, warm spices, orange rind and sassafras, the 2018 Corton Grand Cru Les Renardes is medium to full-bodied, velvety and vibrant, with beautifully refined tannins, tangy acids and fine depth at the core. Elegant but youthfully tightly wound, this is a fine cuvée from the Buisson brothers.

The 2017 Corton Grand Cru Les Renardes is also very expressive, bursting from the glass with notes of smoky berry fruit, spices and candied peel. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, with a gourmand, charming profile that's already hard to resist this year.

The 2015 Corton Grand Cru Les Renardes is lovely, offering up a reticent bouquet of dark berries, coniferous forest floor, espresso roast and grilled venison. On the palate, the wine is as full-bodied as the Corton Le Rognet but finer-grained, more mineral and more elegant, with lovely precision on the youthfully chewy finish. Again, this will require some time in the cellar to soften.
