The 2020 Saint-Romain Perrière performs especially well this year, exhibiting aromas of citrus oil, crisp green apple and white flowers, followed by a medium-bodied, elegantly textural palate that's saline and precise. It's well worth seeking out.

The 2019 Saint-Romain Perrière reveals aromas of citrus pith, crisp orchard fruit, white flowers and toasted nuts. Medium to full-bodied, it's chalky and incisive, with tangy acids and a long, saline finish. This is a real success.

Aromas of lemon oil, crisp green apple and blanched almonds introduce the 2018 Saint-Romain Perrière, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine that's racy and incisive, its elegantly textural attack segueing into an electric mid-palate, concluding with a beautifully defined finish. Pure and precise, this is a beautiful example of the appellation.

The 2017 Saint-Romain La Perrière offers up attractive aromas of pear, dried flowers and hazelnuts, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate, its fleshy attack segueing into a stony, tensile mid-palate and finish. As its name suggests, it's produced from the site of a former quarry and derives from 21-year-old vines.
