"Gritty, granular, savoury. The sunflower seeds and meadow hayon the nose fold into pear puree and gem squash and roasted marrow on the palate - gentle, comforting, subtle with the warm, rounded, wholesome embrace of roasted white and green squash, a sprinkle of spice, a drizzle of olive oil. But there is also a pickled-jalapefio bite that builds into a salty tang-tempered clamp on the finish. Too young to call. l' d buy a six-case of this wine and shove it into a quiet corner of the cellar, bringing a bottle out every year from mid/late 2022 onwards. (TC)"

(...)Putty and pears. Startling purity and direction - it's like a solid rod of that beautiful aqua-green recycled glass. Salty, traces of iodine, samphire, tangy citric soft cheese and Asian pear. The acidity has an intense, clenched structure, as if it's fiercely braced for impact and would shatter into a thousand crystals. It almost tastes too young to drink. This wine will divide a room, but I think it whoud be fantastic with goat's cheese, whether soufflé, salad or crostini. Don't drink too cold.
