The 2017 Pinot Noir Burnside Vineyard, aged in 40% new oak, has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and fresh aromas of red and black cherries, cranberries, charcuterie, burnt orange peel, tree bark and warm earth with a spicy streak. Medium-bodied and silky, it offers great flavor layers knit by grainy tannins and juicy acidity, finishing long and bitters-laced. This is approachable now but will benefit from another year in bottle. 212 cases were made.
