The 2013 Pinot Noir Burnside Vineyard (essentially the same site as the Martinelli-owned Biondi Home Ranch Vineyard) is fashioned from Dijon clone 115 blended with a small amount of Dijon clone 777. Fifty percent new French oak was used and 10% stems. The wine reveals spicy, earthy, forest floor, underbrush, wild strawberry, and red and black cherry characteristics in a medium-bodied, attractive, C?te de Beaune-like style. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.
