The 2014 Pinot Noir Burnside Vineyard is from a Russian River site and made from primarily Dijon clone 115, but with a small amount of the newer clone 777. This is a cold site, and the wine offers up notes of Chinese black tea, baking spices and black and red currants followed by a delicious, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel with outstanding depth, purity and overall texture. This is a beauty and should continue to drink well for 7-8 years. It is also a tiny production item of 315 cases.
