The 1997 Vino Nobile de Montepulciano Vigneto Antica Chiusina boasts an opaque ruby/purple color as well as a big, smoky, sweet nose of black cherries, blueberries, and cedar. Ripe and full-bodied, with an opulent texture, and luscious, fat, concentrated flavors, it is a blend of 90% Prugnolo and 10% Colorino aged 18 months in French oak casks.
