There are 200 cases of this wine. It reveals a smoky, rustic, earth, and tar-scented nose, to go along with its saturated dark purple color. The wine reveals excellent extraction, a clean, rich style, without the animal characteristic so often found in Portuguese reds, good length, and moderate tannin. It is very good, as well as an excellent value. Moreover, I believe it will improve in the bottle over the next 1-3 years, and will last for 7-8.
