The 1999 Chardonnay Alder Springs Vineyard exhibits the terrific complexity and richness that this northern Mendocino vineyard (near the Humboldt County line) often displays. Produced from 100% Dijon clones of Chardonnay, the wine possesses a layered personality exhibiting honeyed pear, passion fruit, tangerine, roasted hazelnuts, and a steely minerality.
