A nice crunchy, minerally style, with stone fruit, pippin apple and lime flavors that race through the refreshing finish. Drink now through 2008. 2,500 cases made. -JM

Light yellow. Pungent aromas of peach pit, melon and talc, plus a hint of quinine. Firm and focused, with tightly wound pit fruit flavors that slowly open and gain sweetness with air. The brisk finish echoes with bitter quinine.

Concha y Toro’s new foray into northerly Limari has resulted in a new line of wines called Maycas. This wine shows a combination of tropical and coastal characteristics. On one hand, there’s banana and pineapple flavors; on the other there’s peach and apple. And there’s definitely a coastal ring to the wine’s mouthfeel: it’s racy, crisp and a little bit jumpy.——M.S.(3/1/2008)—— 88
