The 2015 Chablis Grand Cru les Clos was affected by hail, as the vines are located on the Blanchots side of the vineyard. It has a clean and pure, clear honey and acacia scented bouquet with touches of flint in the background. The palate is smooth and honeyed in texture on the entry, a hint of pralines and spice coming through the rich fruit; there is good weight in the mouth, although I find that the 2014 Les Clos has far more tension. Still, there is weight and heft behind this Les Clos that I find quite attractive; this is mouth-filling Chablis!
