The 2011 Brunello di Montalcino Vigna Loreto offers a bright berry bouquet and soft richness in the mouth. This single vineyard that exists on a slope adjacent to the winery has absorbed more of the 2011 summer heat. You feel that warmth in the quality of the fruit on display here. The bouquet is redolent of ripe cherry, plum, cassis, leather and spice. The finish is opulent and round. This is a fine medium-term Brunello that is approachable now.

Shiny, intense ruby with garnet red. Appealing and accessible nose, intense smell of ripe cherries, pomegranate and plums, some leather in the background. Soft and round in the base and course, fine-meshed tannins, much sweet smell, but quite ripe at the back, slightly caramel notes.
