NOTE: This wine is from the estate vineyard of Ann and Jean-Luc Colombo. The dense purple-colored 1998 Cornas Les Terres Brulees offers an earthy, roasted concoction of black fruits, minerals, spicy oak, and flowers. Rich and fleshy, with abundant quantities of minerals and spice, it is already drinkable because of its low acidity and sweet tannin, and should age well for a decade.
