The 2013 Rauenthaler Nonnenberg Riesling comes from the monopole site of Georg Breuer. This citrus colored and flavored Riesling is pure and fresh on the nose but also less ripe than the Rüdesheim crus. The palate is crisp, piquant and salty, very pure and almost austere and marked by a searing acidity. This firmly structured wine has nevertheless potential to age for a decade but needs some years to open up.
