The 2012 Barbaresco Serragrilli is a harmonious and delineated expression with a sharp delivery of berry, spice and balsam herb aromas. It also shows seductive tones of smoke and tar at the back that contribute to an added sense of sophistication and complexity. In the mouth, this pretty Nebbiolo delivers silky tannins and fine texture.

A beam of pure cherry is supported by strawberry, earth, leather, tar and tobacco notes in this firm, muscular red. Shows the beefy side of Barbaresco, but remains balanced, fresh and long on the finish. Be patient.
