The 2008 Barbaresco Serragrilli reveals excellent focus and delineation from start to finish in its bright red berries, mint and flowers. This is a very pretty, feminine wine from Marchesi. Marchesi di Barolo delivers a rich, concentrated expression from the Serragrilli cru with mature cherry and candied fruit aromas along with bright nuances of Spanish cedar, barbecue spice and cigar box.
