The 2013 Pinot Noir Louise Vineyard was missing the fruit intensity of the Marjorie Vineyard - airy, stony and perhaps just too reserved. You can imagine these aromas being blown away in a gentle wind. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, the fruit slightly darker than Cristom's other single vineyard bottlings, with a slightly lean finish. It is still a pleasurable Pinot Noir, but it just lags behind the others this year.
