The 2004 Pinot Noir “Louise Vineyard” comes from the first parcel planted after Paul Gerrie purchased the estate. Lighter in color, it delivers notions of smoke, allspice, vanilla, clove, and a hint of leather. This lovely perfume leads to a medium- to full-bodied wine with a plush texture and ripe tannins. It will evolve for several years and drink well for 15 or so.
