Displaying a deep minerality intermingled with traces of toasty oak, the Pouilly-Fuisse Clos Reissier is an impressive wine. It boasts a powerful concentration and intensity in its mineral-imbued and well-crafted personality. While oak was evident in its nose it was undistinguishable in its deep and structured flavor profile. Projected maturity: 1999-2003.Close inspection of Georges Duboeuf's wine labels reveals that his Pouilly-Fuisse Clos Reissier is different from all the other wines. The label indicates that the wine was "recolte" (harvested) by Georges Duboeuf "proprietaire a Chaintre" (owner in Chaintre) because it is an estate bottling, produced from his 1.8 hectares.
