Tasted blind, the 2015 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières was also showing very well, offering up notes of ripe lemon, mandarin and spring flowers, subtly framed by new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, concentrated and deep, with good length and chewy extract, balanced by good acids. Pure and elegant, it's a classy Folatières that should drink well for a decade or more.
