This is another sleeper from the back waters of Bordeaux, where some surprisingly good wines can be made, and consumers need to be aware of them. This property has been on a nice qualitative roll for a while, and this well-made 2013 exhibits saturated color and sweet blackcurrant and black cherry fruit with hints of cedar wood and incense. The wine is round, juicy and surprisingly pure and delicious. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
