There’s roughly 500 cases of the 2012 C?te R?tie Domaine des Pierrelles, and it comes from the mostly granite soils as opposed to schist. Elegant, seamless and medium to full-bodied, with sweet tannin, it exhibits impressive notes of crushed rock, ground herbs, olive and spiced fruits. While it will dish out plenty of enjoyment now, it has the balance and concentration to evolve for 10-15 years.
