The estate's 2010 Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Bianco is one of the more overt whites in this lineup. Minerality takes a back seat to an intense expression of peaches and yellow stone fruits. I find less excitement here than in the estate's finest 2010 whites. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. Mastroberardino is one of Italy's most historic properties.
