The 2008 Primavera Pinot Noir received no new oak and was fermented with ambient yeast. Pale ruby colored with a touch of purple, it has pretty wild strawberry and raspberry aromas with a touch of moss and some beets. The medium to full-bodied palate has very good concentration and purity with high acid and a medium level of fine tannins plus a long finish. Drink it now to 2014. Husband and wife team Steve and Monique Lubiana are at the helm of this small, family run operation just north of Hobart. The estate has been organically managed for 7-8 years and is in the process of converting to biodynamics. Average annual production is around 10,000 cases. No known US importer.
