The 2009 Taurasi Naturalis Historia is an exceptional expression of Aglianico that shows a surprisingly floral bouquet with dried rose petal and lavender potpourri. The wine is smooth and silky in texture, which is not an easy feat for the very robust and naturally tannic grape. This hearty red wine shows heft and persistence, but it also delivers grace and understated power. Toasted notes of cinnamon and roasted almond appear on the close.

This bright red is full-bodied and mouthwatering, packed with ripe raspberry and black cherry fruit and licorice snap, mandarin orange peel and smoky mineral notes.
