The 2014 Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Dorilli is a beautifully balanced and graceful wine that proudly veers to the most elegant and feminine side of the Sicilian winemaking scale. The bouquet is generous and intact with bright aromas of wild strawberry, cassis, forest bramble and blue violet. The results are tonic clean and bursting with good energy and verve. You do get those characteristic flavors of Sicily, like black olive and caper, that show up often in the island wines. The blend is 70% Nero d'Avola and 30% Frappato. Some 16,000 bottles are produced.
