The 2008 Dolcetto d’Alba Trifolera is wonderfully nuanced in its dark fruit, spices and sweet mentholated notes. This medium-bodied Dolcetto develops quite nicely in the glass, showing tons of character. While perhaps a touch rustic, the wine is certainly not lacking in character, in fact this is one of the finest 2008 Dolcettos readers are likely to encounter. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2011.
