Complex wild ferment / savoury notes lace the nose with a whiff of spent lees and marmite. This gives way to very enticing aromas of warm peaches, oatmeal, brioche, hazelnut and ginger. The full bodied palate provides plenty of acid to balance out a great concentration of creamy, nutty stone fruit flavours. Long minerally finish. At its peak now but should keep for another 2-3 years. Tasted February 2009.Imported in Japan by Village Cellars LTD
