The 2015 Chateau la Rose Figeac has a pretty and well defined bouquet that as its name implies, seems to flit across Saint Emilion and Pomerol. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. It is not a complex Pomerol, though it has clearly not been pushed too much in the winery, so that the finish has satisfying clarity and freshness. Enjoy this over 6-8 years.
