The 2009 Puligny-Montrachet Le Trezin is quite bright and floral, with plenty of citrus, jasmine and pear notes that take shape in the glass. The Trezin reveals an element of crystalline purity that is remarkable, with intricate layers of minerality that dance across the palate from start to finish. Sweet, perfumed notes reappear on the long, classy finish. This is a fabulous showing. Anticipated maturity: 2013+. This is a fabulous set of wines from Antoine Jobard. The wines are distinguished for their sheer elegance and classiness. The harvest began on September 9. Jobard aged the wines in 15-20% new oak.
