Slightly more vivid and aromatic, with the signature acid profile of the vintage (and vineyard), the 2011 Syrah Rosella’s Vineyard dishes out complex notes of black currants, sappy green herbs, mint, licorice and underbrush to go with a firm, beautifully focused palate that carries ripe tannin and bright acidity. Give bottles another year in the cellar and enjoy over the following 3-4 years. Drink 2014-2018.
These outstanding wines are made by Adam and Dianna Lee of Siduri. While their Siduri line is reserved for Pinot Noir, they release both Syrah and Chardonnay under their Novy line.
