The 2014 Meursault Clos de Mazeray has a tight, linear bouquet that needs to forage for more fruité during its élevage. The palate is nicely balanced with a sense of roundness in the mouth. Like the Beaune Grèves, what it needs is more acidic bite, more raciness to counterbalance the richness on the finish. Let's see how it shows once in bottle.
