Though not quite up to the exalted standard of the awesome 2004, this excellent aromatic white wine deftly mixes floral scents with dusty talcum powder and spicy citrus. A seamless blend of grapefruit, citrus and green apple fruit is lifted with varietal spice and perfume; the wine has good body too. Sounds like a hot date, which it is, ready for any kind of saucy Asian noodle dish you care to throw at it. Just not up to the overall elegance and polish of the ’04. ——P.G.(12/31/2006)—— 87
