Made in an exceptionally seductive, rich, velvety style, the 1994 Estate Pinot Noir is reminiscent of some of the top 1990 Louis Jadot premier crus. The wine reveals a healthy dark ruby color with purple tints. The expressive, fragrant nose of sweet oak, jammy black-cherries, and floral scents is followed by a medium-bodied, velvety-textured wine with a sweet, layered feel, and well-integrated acidity, tannin, and alcohol. It is a seamless, beautifully-rendered Pinot Noir that should drink well for 5-6 years.Bethel Heights has become one of Oregon's leaders, and why not?
