The Fontanafredda 2019 Moscato d'Asti Briccotondo (closed in a screw cap bottle) opens to all those fragrant and summery aromas that you should expect of this informal sweet semi-sparkler from Piedmont. The expressive bouquet offers honey, lemon blossom, peach and some of those musky dried rose or potpourri aromas as well. The effervescence is light and foamy, and the wine clocks in at a low 5% alcohol content. Drink this Moscato d'Asti within the next 12 months. Some 10,000 12-bottle cases were released.
