The Istine 2017 Chianti Classico Vigna Istine (made with organic fruit) is a light and informal wine with tart cherry, wild raspberry, crushed stone and blue flowers. The wine fits squarely with the informal and accessible side of the appellation and would sure make a good companion to a heaping plate of pappardelle and meat ragù.

Offers cherry and raspberry flavors up front, with savory herbal elements seeping in as this red builds on the palate. Racy and well-built for the long haul, it shows intensity, richness and a firm line of tannins on the finish.
