The 2013 Barolo Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi is very faithful to the Poderi Luigi Einaudi house style that prizes elegance and tradition. This beautifully balanced Barolo opens to a light garnet appearance with dark ruby highlights. The wine is lean and polished in terms of its initial approach, but it does fan out over the palate in silky waves. The bouquet here is classic Nebbiolo with blue flowers, wild berries, light spice and smoke.
